After cleaning, the next step is the application. It could take a few days for the first coat of epoxy to harden before applying the second coat on top of it. Polyaspartic will be faster drying but more costly to install.
Epoxy emits a very strong smell when they are applied in a wet state. Proper ventilation is required and you will be advised to stay away during this step of the process.
Keep in mind that Concrete floors must be proerly cleaned of any oil, grease, dirt, or liquid before applying a layer of epoxy. All cracks or fissures must be filled as well.
